來自福鼎的春季白茶 — 今年的首次靜謐收成

四個單株樣品,採於三月下旬至四月初,各5克,均來自福鼎的同一片山坡。在承諾之前嚐一口季節 — 付費運送,不提供每日供應,僅足以讓您在自己的壺中認識這個品種。

為何福鼎,為何春季,為何極少加工

Báichá (白茶) 是六大茶類中處理最少的。採摘、萎凋、乾燥 — 這就是全部工序。由於從葉子到杯子之間沒有其他干預,茶園直接說話:土壤、海拔、萎凋期間的天氣,以及製茶師的耐心。

福鼎位於福建東北海岸,海霧翻越花崗岩丘陵向內陸蔓延,而Fúdǐng Dà Bái (福鼎大白) 品種 — 大葉、多毫、發芽緩慢 — 自19世紀起便在此種植。福鼎的春季採收從三月下旬持續至四月中旬的Gǔ Yǔ (谷雨, Grain Rain)。頭採茶產生白毫銀針:只有未開放的芽頭,覆滿白毫,濃密得彷彿葉子結了霜。隨著季節推移,芽頭展開一片葉子,再到兩片,同一叢茶樹先後產出白牡丹、貢眉,然後是來自較大後期葉片的壽眉。同一品種,同一片山坡,四款茶 — 都由那一週茶樹的生長狀態所決定。

工序聽起來簡單,實則不然。萎凋在室外竹篩上進行,有時長達48至72小時,製茶師每小時都要觀察濕度、日照角度和葉色。陽光過多,芽頭會變紅;氣流太少,芽葉會悶熟。成品白毫銀針應呈銀綠色,仍顯現鮮活的白毫,帶有乾淨的乾草和瓜類香氣,而無青草味。

Brewing and keeping spring whites

水溫 80–85 °C,勿沸騰

Boiling water bruises pekoe and pushes bitterness. Pour just off the boil, or rest the kettle 90 seconds after it sings. Gong Mei and Shou Mei tolerate hotter water than Silver Needle.

Your 5g sample brews one generous gaiwan session of 5–7 infusions, or two western pots. Begin gentle — white tea rewards short early steeps and longer late ones.

春季白茶可即飲 — 或刻意陳放

Silver Needle is at its aromatic peak in the first 12 months. Shou Mei and Gong Mei are designed for aging — store sealed, dry, away from light, and they sweeten over years.

儲存:密封、避光、勿冷藏

White tea absorbs odours fast. Use a foil-lined pouch or sealed tin, kept away from spices, coffee, and direct sun. The fridge introduces moisture — keep it at room temperature.

品嚐順序:從芽到葉

Brew Silver Needle first, then Bai Mu Dan, Gong Mei, Shou Mei. The progression from delicate pekoe to baked-fruit body is the clearest way to learn the grade ladder.

多次回沖

A 5g portion in a 100ml gaiwan can yield 6–8 infusions. Each steep reveals a different layer — don't discard leaves after the first pour.

Is the sample really free?

Yes — the tea is free. You pay shipping only, calculated by region at checkout. One sample box per account per quarter, no auto-renewal, no subscription trap.

How much tea is in each sample?

5g per variety, four varieties — 20g total. Enough for two full gongfu sessions per tea, or four western brews. A taste, not a daily supply.

How fresh are these?

Picked late March to mid-April 2026 in Fuding, packed at origin, shipped to us in May. You're drinking them within months of harvest.

Can I buy more if I like one?

Yes. Each product page links to full-size tins at shop.thetea.app. We don't stock retail quantities on tea.gratis — this site is for discovery only.

What if I'm new to white tea entirely?

Start with Bai Mu Dan — it's the most forgiving and gives the clearest picture of the cultivar. The white tea primer on tea.school walks through brewing step by step.

Why only Fuding? What about Yunnan or Zhenghe whites?

Each quarterly box has a single regional focus so you can taste comparatively. Yunnan moonlight whites are on the roadmap for a later drop.

Will Silver Needle taste better in a year?

No — Silver Needle peaks fresh, in the first 12 months. Gong Mei and Shou Mei are the aging candidates in this box.
